Bequest Language
1. Unrestricted Bequest.
An unrestricted gift will enable the Museum to apply the funds to our most pressing needs. By bequeathing a specific sum, a percentage or the "rest, residue and remainder" of your estate, you will allow the Museum to determine the best use of your bequest. The following language can be incorporated into a new will or added by a codicil (amendment) to your existing will.
I give (describe dollar amount, property, or proportion of residuary estate) to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, located at 2001 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80205, for its general educational and charitable purposes.
2. Restricted Bequest.
Staff, volunteers, donors and visitors who have a special connection to the Museum, may prefer to support a specific department, program, or activity. Through a restricted bequest, your gift can be designated to benefit your favorite part of the Museum.
